These are stand alone stories that take place in the same alternate universe, one that is largely true to JK Rowling's Harry Potter books with a notable exception or two: Severus and Lavender survived the Battle of Hogwarts. The stories weren't written in chronological order (and aren't meant to be read in chronological order for that matter; seriously, it ruins a bunch of surprises), although the dates at which they occur have been included in case you just can't help yourself. 😉 They can be read on their own, any necessary non-canonical scene setting information from a previous story is provided.
